New report calls for a Defence Industrial Base Strategy that drives prosperity

 

Goldy Hyder calls on the government to raise the levels of economic immigrants to help tackle labour shortages across Canada. The Globe and Mail cited the BCC’s press release responding to the federal government’s 2023-2025 Immigration Levels Plan. 

“Unfortunately, economic-class permanent residents represent only 58.5 per cent of total admissions in the plan announced today. This is far fewer than the number needed to support Canadians’ high standard of living,”
