Vice President, Stakeholder Relations – Business Council of Canada
Rosemary joins the BCC from the National Gallery of Canada, where she was Vice President Corporate, Public Affairs and Marketing. Her work with the Gallery included the successful rebranding of the organization this summer. She was previously Vice President Marketing and Development at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and Executive Director of Communications at the National Arts Centre.
Prior to her career in the arts sector, Rosemary, was a respected journalist serving as Deputy Bureau Chief for CTV’s Parliamentary Bureau. She was also the first female CTV Washington correspondent, held the role of CTV Montreal Bureau Chief, and worked as a broadcast journalist for the CBC.
She is the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from Canadaʼs National Press Club, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and was honoured as a “national trailblazer” by the Women in Communications and Technology (WCT) organization. Her extensive volunteer experience includes work with Carleton University’s Board of Governors, the Canada 150 Alliance and the Famous Five Foundation.
Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Political Science from Carleton University and completed an Executive Leadership course in Media and Performing Arts Management at the Schulich School of Business.
