As BlackRock’s Country Head of Canada, Marcia is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of BlackRock’s business activities in the region. The Canada team is focused on sharing the very best of the firm’s global capabilities and local expertise with Canadian clients. Marcia is also a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee. Marcia is a strong supporter of the not-for-profit sector and her community. She is actively involved with the C.D. Howe Institute, the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance and the Business Council of Canada and has prior involvement with the Ontario Brain Institute and Loran Scholars Foundation, among others. She earned her MBA and Law degrees from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science (biology) degree from McGill University.
