Trevor Kennedy addressed the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business’ Africa Accelerating conference in Toronto

On October 24th, Trevor Kennedy addressed the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business’ Africa Accelerating conference in Toronto. Given the challenges Canada faces with traditional trade partners and Canada’s  need to diversify, the Canadian government and Canadian businesses should be taking a closer look at some of the incredible progress going on in much of Africa.

Mr. Kennedy’s main message focused on what the business community can do to enhance Canada-Africa ties. In the new year, the Business Council will be releasing a report detailing where we are under-performing on the continent, what opportunities are available in the decade ahead, and what government and business can do together to make sure Canada is not left behind.
