The future is bright

Following the announcement by the federal government of its new plan to fight climate change, Tim Gitzel joined BNN Bloomberg to explain why nuclear energy is critical for meeting Canada’s targets. He also emphasized the measures Cameco has taken to protect the health and safety of its employees during the pandemic.

We’re really optimistic about the future; you hear every country and state and province talking about net zero carbon, and as our federal Minister of Natural Resources said, there’s no pathway there without going through nuclear, and so we’re pretty excited about the future.
