Statement on the rail blockades impacting Canadians across the country

Our rail network underpins the Canadian economy by delivering products across the country and, ultimately, to global markets. Illegal rail blockades are impacting businesses, communities and citizens that depend on timely rail services. The longer this continues, the more significant the impact will be on middle class and all Canadians whose livelihoods depend on people and goods moving freely across the country. We urge all levels of government to work together to bring an immediate end to the blockades.
