In an interview with BNN Bloomberg’s Amanda Lang about reports that Joe Biden is planning to rescind the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, Goldy Hyder suggested that Canada needs to start prioritizing itself as the upcoming U.S. administration will be doing the same. He emphasized the need to diversify the economy, but also include the energy sector in a sustainable recovery.

“America is looking after America. It’s high time Canada looks after Canada. This means really diversifying. It means having trade-enabling infrastructure. And it means attracting investment.”
