Budget 2024

Tax and spend fiscal plan will inhibit growth

Al Monaco believes that deepening relations with Indigenous communities requires full economic partnership. He shares this perspective in Enbridge’s announcement of a landmark equity agreement with twenty-three First Nation and Métis communities in cooperation with Athabasca Indigenous Investments (Aii) to acquire non-operating interest in seven Enbridge-operated pipelines in northern Alberta.

“We believe this partnership exemplifies how Enbridge and Indigenous communities can work together, not only in stewarding the environment, but also in owning and operating critical energy infrastructure. We are looking forward to working with the Aii and deepening our relationship well into the future.”
