Canadian businesses are not waiting for government directive when it comes to finding a path toward net zero. This was the message in a feature column in the National Post by John Ivison that included comments from Goldy Hyder and representatives of several Business Council member companies.

“It’s become too political and the risk is that every time there’s a government change….money looks at that and goes, ‘This is an unpredictable and unstable regulatory risk’…We need to be able to reassure capital markets and investors that we’re a country that can actually build things.”
