Canadians deserve a clear reopening plan

Goldy Hyder welcomes the lifting of some travel restrictions for fully vaccinated Canadians but stresses the need for government to deliver a clearly laid out plan for Canada to regain some normalcy. He shared this perspective on the federal government’s Phase 1 of easing travel restrictions in an interview with BNN Bloomberg’s Amanda Lang.

“The job of the government is to state clearly what’s the plan, what are the benchmarks, what are the metrics. Setting aside that distressed sectors need a lifeline, Canadians need the ability to plan for the next six months.”
