Business Council mourns the loss of Thomas C. O’Neill

The Business Council of Canada extends its condolences to the family and friends of the late Thomas C. O’Neill. Tom was widely admired by business leaders across the country for his professionalism and his advocacy for high standards of business ethics and corporate governance. His efforts to promote women into private sector leadership positions was recognized by Catalyst Canada with a special award in 2019.

Tom O’Neill was a member of the Business Council during his tenure as CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers (now PwC). He also served as Chair of two other Council members — Scotiabank and BCE.
