Business Council members travel to Japan to promote stronger business ties

Goldy Hyder was in Japan this week with a group of Council member CEOs to attend the Eurasia Group’s G-Zero Summit and meet with senior government officials and business leaders to discuss enhancing bilateral trade and investment ties.

While in Tokyo, Goldy spoke to Nikkei, Japan’s leading financial newspaper, about the importance of China and Japan as well as other Asia Pacific markets in diversifying Canada trade.

Goldy will continue his work to promote stronger business-to-business ties with the Asia Pacific when he returns to Japan in February 2020 to participate in the Asia Pacific Foundation’s Asia Business Leaders Advisory Council (ABLAC).
