We are looking to hire a Vice President Communications to provide strategic communications advice and support to the President and CEO and the Council team. The candidate will lead the planning, management and oversight of all communications activities for the Council and the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree, experience in planning and providing informed advice on the most appropriate communications strategies, tools and tactics to advance the Council’s priorities. The individual will be an innovative and creative thinker and have strong analytical skills with a proven ability to produce high quality material in a variety of formats, making complex material readily accessible to a variety of audiences. An understanding of the major challenges facing Canada and Canadian business, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment are essential.
