Michael Gullo

Vice President, Policy – Business Council of Canada

Michael supports the Council’s work on economic and climate policy, with a focus on energy and natural resources, infrastructure, and commodity markets. 

He works with members and stakeholders to build consensus on policies and strategies that strengthen the investment climate in Canada and enhance competitiveness.  Michael is the co-chair of a national forum that convenes companies and associations committed to advancing policies and regulations pertaining to climate and clean air.

Prior to joining the Council, Michael directed the policy and public affairs activities for a national association and worked as a management consultant.

He holds degrees in natural resource management and environmental studies from the University of Waterloo and Dalhousie University.
