Road to recovery full of optimism

In an address to the Canadian Club Toronto, Bharat Masrani explained why he remains optimistic about the future of Canada’s economy. He highlighted recent efforts by the corporate community to address diversity and inclusion in the workplace, actions to mitigate climate change, the digitization of the economy, and other competitive advantages to ensure a strong economic recovery.

“When I think about Canada, we have a really well-educated workforce, we have a very developed economy, we have a population that is wanting to do the right thing, and so we have the ingredients to make [the climate change economy of the future] happen….. so I feel very, very optimistic to what the future holds.”
