As part of its commitment to addressing anti-Black systemic racism and enabling the aspirations of Black leaders, CIBC announced a doubling of funding for education and resource programs for the Black community to $2 million annually. It also launched a new banking program designed for Black-owned businesses. In the announcement, Victor Dodig emphasized the importance of taking concrete steps to end systemic racism and realizing the impact it will have on the community at large.
