On February 7th, Goldy Hyder attended the Canada-U.S. economic summit with political and business leaders from across the country. He urged Canada to act with urgency to make the economy more resilient and prosperous.

“Let’s look forward to how we seize it to help the Canadian economy be successful and resilient.”

“What happened is an opportunity. The people in that room who really represent Canadians found a way to get past their differences to say we have to work together and see this as an opportunity and a wakeup call to strengthen our own country.”

“The wake-up call that this is generating in Canada is something that I think we may look back on and say that’s when Canada really figured out that it has what the world wants, and it’d be best to figure out how to get it to them.”
