A bigger impact on people who need it

Robert Asselin commends the federal government on the success of the child benefit program as effective public policy that improves lives. He shares his perspective in a Canadian Press article about an adjustment to Canada Child Benefit on its seven-year anniversary. 

“And, you know, I think credit [goes] to the Prime Minister, who went with it. And I think that as a result it had a much bigger impact because it was focused on people who needed it.”
