Ensuring Canadian competitiveness

Louise Blais welcomes the deal reached by Democratic U.S. senators to back a bill that includes an expansion of tax credits for electric vehicles produced in North America. However, in comments to CBC.ca, she raises concerns about other impacts the legislation may have on Canadian competitiveness. 

 ”So we really need to take a close look at this in Canada and make sure that we do not lose our competitiveness in some of these sectors as a result of this.”
