An unprecedented donation to Canada’s ocean science sector tackles some of the biggest questions facing the seas. Spearheaded by Dalhousie University, the Ocean Frontier Institute brings together international scientists, students and industry to focus on issues such as climate change, reversing fish species collapse and evaluating the sustainability of aquaculture.
John Risley, President of New Brunswick-based Clearwater Fine Foods Inc., credits the Ocean Fronteir Institute for championing scientific research. “It is enormously important the community appreciate the extent to which the institute has and will bring together so many partners across the Atlantic Canadian scene,” Risley said.
